Cathedral Café by Create
In November 2011 Create took over the Cathedral Café.
Established in Leeds almost 5 years ago, and now established across the North, Create believes that business is about people as much as about profit. Create is a food business with a difference, one that invests every penny it makes in its own training academy which supports homeless and vulnerable people back to work. Last year Create was only the second organisation to win the Prime Minister Big Society Award.
Our chef team are passionate about food and the ingredients we use, but we’re also about making a difference. Today Create offers a complete food solution- be it a working lunch, private directors dining or events and conference catering- We also have some of the nation’s greatest chefs on board, including Richard Walton Allen- formally of Harvey Nichol’s.
The licensed café bar is located on the Ground Floor serving a selection of sandwiches, homemade soups and salads together with hot and cold drinks, all in a relaxed and modern atmosphere. The café is currently open Monday-Friday, 9.30am-4.00pm. The entrance is directly opposite the main entrance to the cathedral.
The café will be closed on Saturday's until further notice.
The café will be closed from Monday 9 April to Sunday 15 April* for refurbishment.
