Cathedral spaces

The Nave (905 sq m) is suitable for special events, lectures, seminars, press conferences, cocktail parties, receptions, formal lunches, dinners, exhibitions and concerts. The Nave has a capacity of 1103 people for theatre-style presentations or concerts and can seat 940 people for dinner.
The Regimental Chapel (206 sq m) is a good-sized space, which can be combined with the Nave for a total size of 1111 sq m. This area is suitable for drink receptions, meetings, lectures, seminars, workshops and special events (including lunches and dinners). The area has a capacity of 190 for dinner and is shown in blue on the floor plan.
The Cathedral Chapter House (26 sq m) offers a venue for smaller receptions, as well as board meetings, lectures, seminars, workshops and special events (including lunches and dinners). The room has a capacity of 15 for dinner.
The Library (53 sq m) is a medium-sized meeting room; it is suitable for board meetings, seminars, formal lunches and dinners. The room has a capacity of 50 for dinner.
The Refectory (48 sq m) is a large meeting room, suitable for special events, lectures, seminars, banqueting, meetings and receptions. It is adjacent to the kitchen. The room has a capacity of 80 (theatre style).
The following areas also which support events taking place in the Cathedral: Kitchen (28 sq m), Female restroom (20 sq m), Male restroom (11 sq m), Disabled restroom (3 sq m) and a Single male restroom (2 sq m).

Sound and vision
Modern audio-visual equipment can be provided — a digital projector, a presentation point for laptop computers, a slide projector and screen and an overhead projector. The acoustics are excellent, microphones are not necessary at all events, but can be used if required. We provide an AV supplier who can help you make the most of the great space on larger functions and customise the Cathedral’s lighting to suit your event.
