 Christopher Stokes
As a conductor in London, he directed the professional choirs for services at St. Martin's and St. Margaret’s. He also founded The Baroque Soloists of St Martin-in-the-Fields, (a group of leading baroque players and singers in London). In Manchester he directs the Cathedral Choir, which, in addition to the essential Opus Dei, sings for regular television and radio broadcasts and has recorded a number of CDs, which have received critical acclaim.

 Jeffrey Makinson
Alongside his work at the cathedral, Jeffrey is Tutor in Organ Studies at the Royal Northern College of Music and Manchester University and Tutor in Pianoforte at Chetham’s School of Music. He is busy as an accompanist, recitalist, conductor, teacher and adjudicator in the city and throughout the North West.
Before coming to Manchester, Jeffrey was Organ Scholar of York Minster for two years, before spending five years as Assistant Organist at Lincoln Minster.

 Judith Parry Judith joined the music department in February 2007 as the Music Administrator. She previously worked as a qualified Physiotherapist after studying it at Manchester University, but has always had a very strong musical slant: she plays Clarinet, Percussion and Piano in her spare time.
Judith is married to Gareth, and they have a young Son, Thomas.
