Adrian has served the Diocese of Manchester for many years most significantly as the Senior Chaplain at Manchester Royal Infirmary.  He is a qualified Psychotherapist and practices in Manchester working with the NHS.  He became and honorary Canon in 2007 and is a Cathedral Chaplain and a very keen campanologist.

The Reverend Peter Bellamy-Knights

Peter  became a Christian and was baptised and confirmed as a choir boy at St Helen's Church, Stapleford, Notts.  He later became a church bell ringer.  After university, he taught Mathematics for three years at Madras Christian College, India.  He then came to Manchester University as a post-graduate student and continued there until early retirement from the post of Senior Lecturer in Engineering.  He married Anne, a radiographer - now retired.  Peter finally realised a long felt call to ordained ministry and was ordained at Manchester Cathedral where he continues to serve as a non-stipendary chaplain.

David began as the Cathedral Administrator at the beginning of October 2007.  Prior to this David, worked with the Bishop for Urban Life and Faith, organising the Bishop's international seminars as well as his conferences in the UK.

Alison was appointed PA to The Dean in January 2008.

Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, Alison attended Lancaster University. With a degree in Visual Art under her belt, she then worked for Lancaster and Morecambe Newspapers for 13 years, was promoted to Chief Sub-editor and attained NVQ (Level 4) in Production Journalism.

After a four-year stint in medical book publishing and recent work for CGP Books and Express Newspapers, Alison has now relocated to Derbyshire.

She was on the PCC at St Christopher's Church in Morecambe for nine years and her hobbies include cinema, concerts and riding pillion on boyfriend Scott's Ducati Multistrada motorbike.

Joanne Hooper
Joanne has worked at the Cathedral for the past 10 years after leaving school. She was appointed as the Office Junior in 1997 and underwent an Apprenticeship sponsored by the Cathedral and finally achieving her Level 3 NVQ.
