For an experimental period during the winter months Sunday Evensong will take place at 5.30 pm. The exceptions to this are for services that are already well-established in the Cathedral Diary, and which will remain at 6.30 pm. Please see Special services below:

The daily reround of Morning and Evening Prayer and Holy Communion are the heartbeat of our community spiritual life.  For some time the clergy have not been convinced that our current pattern of timings best serves the needs of either the clergy or the people who might come to these services.  From the beginning of January, therefore, we shall be trying our a new pattern, which will be reviewed and assessed later in the year.  Services will be as follows from Monday 5 January (evening services remain unchanged):

 

Morning Prayer	9.00am Monday-Saturday
Holy Communion	9.15am Monday-Saturday
	1.10pm Monday to Friday
Evening Prayer (said)	5.30pm Monday and Friday
Evensong	5.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
	3.30pm Saturday
