We are pleased to announce that the Cathedral Education Department has been awarded the status of Registered Content Provider and Registered Retailer for Curriculum Online by the DfES. This means that the quality of our curriculum resource packs for schools has been officially recognised and the content approved for its relevance in supporting the National Curriculum. They will therefore soon be available nationally via the Curriculum Online website. Curriculum Online is central to the Government's drive to transform teaching and learning in schools by improving access to ICT and multimedia resources for all pupils. To help bring about this aim, the Government has set aside substantial funds (£100 million) in the form of Electronic Learning Credits (eLCs), money that goes directly to schools to spend on multimedia resources. Curriculum Online is a searchable catalogue detailing thousands of free and priced multimedia resources. Purchase of our resources will be available through Curriculum Online later this term, but they will also continue to be available in hard copy directly from the Cathedral Education Department. | |
