Many of you will have heard of the Big Draw; the campaign that seeks to offer people of all ages the chance to discover that drawing is enjoyable, liberating and at everyone’s fingertips!

In October 2006 we will host a month-long Big Draw event at Manchester Cathedral. 

We will be inviting pupils to come and observe the architecture and art that adorns the Cathedral and to create their own drawing of a particular aspect of the Cathedral that fascinates them. Manchester Cathedral is an amazing space in which to discover the joy of drawing.

We already have a number of groups that visit regularly to sketch, paint and photograph the Cathedral. Why not bring your group along for an art lesson with a difference? During the October half term, there will be further art and craft activities in the Cathedral for children to enjoy. Please contact the Education Officer for further details.
