Our popular Coffee Concerts return for 2019!

The Cathedral's Sub-Organist, Geoffrey Woollatt, will explore a wide-ranging repertoire on the new Stoller Organ, built by Kenneth Tickell and Co. Geoffrey has held posts at the Cathedrals of Manchester, Chester and St Mary's, Glasgow.

Geoff will play works by locally-born John Ireland and William Walton, as well as Tube Tune by Norman Cocker who was once Organist at Manchester Cathedral.

Our Saturday Coffee Concerts offer some of the best free concerts in the city, with talented musicians performing in a beautiful and friendly setting, followed by complimentary cakes and refreshments.
