Lent Conversations 2019

Date: Sunday 24 March 2019 (12.15pm)

For our Lent Conversations this year we are going to use the Church of England’s GraveTalk.

It’s not easy to talk about death, dying and funerals. GraveTalk is designed to get the conversation started. There are no answers, just thought provoking questions to get us thinking and talking. There are five sections: Life, Death, Society, Funerals and Grief. Life questions will help us talk about what has been important in our own lives and how we would like to be remembered. Death questions will help us talk about our experience of death, and what we think it means. Society one will give us a chance to talk about how our culture shapes our thinking. Funerals questions are about what might happen, choices that need to be made and making plans. Grief will help us talk about the reality of loss and how we experience it. As usual our meetings are very informal. Come and join us!
