Prayer zones
Over a quarter of a million people visit the Cathedral each year; many are casual visitors and tourists who do not attend worship services.
Just as people may light votive candles for private devotions and prayer, we also want to make available ‘prayer zones or stations’ which they can use to focus in prayer or simply think on a particular theme. Often multimedia and interactive in nature, we aim to have two or three prayer zones available and change them regularly.
