‘Come and Sing’ Performance

This Saturday, 26 November, will see approximately 100 singers gather at Manchester Cathedral for a day of rehearsals, before performing Haydn’s Maria Theresa Mass.  They will also be performing Parry’s I was glad, Elgar’s Ave Verum and Mendelssohn’s He, watching over Israel from Elijah.   Why not come along to the Cathedral for the performance at 4.30 pm?  Entry to the performance is £5, payable on the door.  The scratch choir will be joined by professional soloists Rebecca Lea, Stephen Crocker, Tim Kennedy and Rob O’Connell.  The organ will be played by Graham Eccles and the performance is directed by Christopher Stokes.
