Cathedral Choristers to serenade Saturday shoppers

In what is fast becoming a regular fixture in the Christmas calendar, the Choristers of Manchester Cathedral will be serenading shoppers in the Arndale Centre as they go about preparing for the festive season.  So if you’re in town on Saturday 3 December and fancy taking a break from the Christmas shopping, why not head to the Link Bridge (near New Look) and the Void area (next to G Star) around 4.30pm  to enjoy a wide selection of traditional Christmas carols? Your spirits are sure to be lifted as your hear the wonders of the Christmas story sung by these angelic voices – and you might even feel moved to join in! They’ll be singing for about twenty minutes in each venue under the watchful eye of Cathedral Sub-Organist Jeff Makinson.
