Arrival & Car Parking
The Cathedral is located in the centre of Manchester and during the warmer months, entrance is by three doors: at the South Porch, North Porch and and the West Door. Otherwise entrance to the Cathedral is via the South Porch, off Cathedral Yard and Victoria Street, which also provides ground-level access for wheelchair users. Volunteer welcomers and guides are available to offer assistance on arrival.
There are no car parking spaces available at the Cathedral. The nearest car park is Q-Park Deansgate North which can be located at 2 Chapel Street, Manchester, just a few minutes walk away, discounted parking is available if you pre-book. Vehicles with a Blue Badge
Vehicles with a Blue Badge can:
• park for up to three hours on a single or double yellow line as long as there are no loading restrictions. The clock on the badge must be set to show your time of arrival.
• park without time limit at a pay and display parking bay (free of charge) and, without time limit on a designated on-street accessible bay. See where disabled parking bays are in Manchester.
• park on resident parking permit bays without a time limit.
You must be in the vehicle when your badge is being used, or being picked up.

Large print visitor information leaflets and/or further assistance are available from the volunteer welcomers and guides at the entrance of the Cathedral.
