Canon Adrian Rhodes

Adrian Rhodes is Chaplain to the Cathedral.  Born in Oldham the same year as the NHS, he has spent most of his working life in Manchester Diocese, having been a hospital chaplain for 25 years.

He now works as a psychotherapist in the NHS and in private practice and is President of the European Association for Psychotherapy - the psychotherapists' professional body covering 28 European nations, 17 types of psychotherapy and over 120,000 qualified psychotherapists.

Adrian is married to Catherine, also a psychotherapist - and they have two adult children, Vikki and Adam. He is a qualified scuba diving instructor and has been known to play the baritone sax.
