Who would have thought it will have been a year since the Whisky Lounge wagon rolled into town!
We deliberately set specific session times so the festival doesn’t get overcrowded, meaning you can sip and swallow at your own pace.
The first session offers two ticket types. The full session ticket and the taster ticket.
The second session is a full session ticket only.
Entry to one session, Friday 6pm-10pm or Saturday 12pm-4pm or 5pm-9pm (select which to the right)

What’s it all about?
Festival Masterclasses are the perfect chance to get up close and personal with some of the ‘whisky worlds’ finest speakers. Enjoy a relaxed and intimate tasting, away from the hustle and bustle of the main festival. Each Masterclass will be different, depending on who’s running it and what the focus of the tasting is. Here you’ll get to taste some amazing drams, ask questions and actually converse with the people who know them best!

The vast majority of whiskies at the festival are available to taste within your ticket price. However, we recommend you take the opportunity to sample some of the rarer, more exclusive whiskies by purchasing Under the Counter dram tokens on the day.
Show your Under the Counter dram token to an exhibitor and wait for their nod of approval as they reveal their secret stash.
There are two tiers of tokens which can be purchased on the day, and exchanged for different levels of whisky:
Please, please ensure you buy tickets for the right session. We set strict limits on the number of tickets for each session so visitors can enjoy their whisky at their own pace. We are unable to swap tickets on the day. But, we’re mostly all human, so if you do buy the wrong session by accident, give us a call or email as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to sort out the muddle.
To book your place at a masterclass, you will need a separate ticket for each. We add more details about the masterclasses before the event, so be sure to check back regularly.
Your ticket will be emailed to you as we do not send out paper tickets. If you are purchasing tickets as a gift for somebody else and you would like PDF tickets emailed to you, please email Enable JavaScript to view protected content., stating the name(s) of the recipients.
Please note: ‘last pour’ is always 15 minutes prior to the session end time. This is non-negotiable!
All attendees must be 18 or over – photo ID may be required.
