On Sunday, 17 November 2019 at 2pm the Cathedral will host a service of thanksgiving for 150 years of Wood Street Mission.
This will be a celebratory service to give thanks for the 150 years of work and support which Wood Street Mission has given to the diverse communities of Manchester and Salford. The service will be led by Canon Dr David Holgate with an address by the Bishop of Manchester. Representatives from Wood Street Mission and the major world faiths will be participating in the service.
During the service there will be musical performances by St Mark’s CE Primary School Choir, Worsley, and Withington Girls’ School Choir.
We do hope that you will come along to celebrate and join us for refreshments at the end of the service.
This service is free to attend, but please register your attendance with Eventbrite Opens in new window where you will also find a button to contact the Mission, to whom all enquiries should be directed.
