WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY INTERFAITH SERVICE

GM Health & Social Care Interfaith Working Group Convened with GM Mental Health Chaplaincy are delighted to welcome you to the

World Mental Health Day – Interfaith Service 2022. Manchester Cathedral. Thursday 6th October.

Theme for 2022: Mental health in an unequal world. The service celebrates the challenges that individuals of faith have had to face and overcome in a world of disparity.

Keynote speaker – Charles Kwaku - Odoi.

Every year the service attracts greater participants from both the faith communities and the health and social agencies. In commemorating mental health on or around the 10th October, the annual Interfaith service recognises and promotes the value of faith and culture across GM and the vital link that both faith and belief provide in mental well-being. In bringing together faith communities alongside health and social care agencies, we seek to foster cohesion, understanding and solidarity, enabling health and social care agencies to work together with faith communities to improve the mental well-being of all people across GM.

We are delighted to be back at Manchester Cathedral for 2022.

Doors and Stalls open from 6.30pm

The service starts at 7pm.

Service finishes by 8.30pm.

Food and refreshments served.
